Experience Matteo, our digital wine sommelier with integrated indoor navigation

Matteo combines personal service with a smart wine experience. The avatar was developed in collaboration with TMI and Swissdrink and not only offers intelligent wine advice at the point of sale, but also shows the way to the right product, whether it’s on the shelf, at the tasting counter or at the checkout.

Matteo accesses a dynamic knowledge base of product data and uses state-of-the-art AI components: GPT for dialogue and recommendations, ElevenLabs for natural speech output, and the Plural database for access to the entire wine range. The wayfinding function turns advice into a genuine guided experience – intuitive, precise and highly personalised.

FAQ about our Wayfinder

The Wayfinder combines interactive building maps (via MappedIn) with an AI avatar that can be operated via voice or touchscreen. Users enter a destination – e.g. ‘Where is room 1.204?’ – and receive visual directions and a friendly response from the avatar.
Both are possible. The Wayfinder can be operated entirely via touchscreen or voice input, depending on user preferences or location requirements.
We support German and English as standard. Other languages, such as French, Turkish, Arabic or Ukrainian, can be integrated on request to meet the needs of your visitors.
Yes, the Wayfinder can also be used by people with disabilities. Voice control makes it easy to use, the visual display is high-contrast and clear, and audio support can be activated if required.
Yes, after training on the system. The maps are based on MappedIn and can be updated via a web interface – e.g. in the event of room changes, new routes or temporary closures.
Absolutely! The Wayfinder can be combined with the Digital Receptionist, for example, to guide visitors to the right destination immediately after greeting them. It can also be linked to appointment booking or product advice.
The Wayfinder runs on standard touchscreen kiosks or wall displays with speakers. We are happy to advise you on selection and integration – or work with existing hardware.

Integration is usually straightforward. Once building plans and information have been provided, the Wayfinder can be up and running in just a few weeks. We support you from setup to live operation.
